Recent Project Sucesses

Due Diligence Project Management
Phase I ESA for Nonprofit Land Trust.
ADESA has collaborated closely with Capitol Land Trust (CLT) to provide Phase I ESAs for aquisition or conservation easements on property containing sensitive or valuable ecological areas. ADESA's "in kind" donations and flexible service have aided CLT on many of their projects which may be private and grant funded.

Due Diligence Project Management
Phase I ESA at a former plywood mill and company town in Oregon. Phase I due diligence investigation leading to a Phase II site investigation.
In a collaborative effort between ADESA and several other consulting firms, ADESA conducted the historic/current hazardous waste assessment portion of a larger water project feasibility study focusing on a former plywood mill and company town.  Since both the town and the mill had been removed from the site, ADESA was forced to use available historic resources and a wealth of environmental research experience to complete the project. ADESA interpreted historic regulatory cleanup documents, conducted interviews with current and former owners, and developed special knowledge of the former facility operations. ADESA's portion of the project brought to light potential difficulties in implementing a major water project, thus increasing planning efficiency and avoiding unexpected regulatory difficulties.

NEPA Environmental Assessment Project Management
Performed and produced a NEPA compliant environmental assessment (EA) for a tribal entity seeking HUD grant funding.
ADESA successfully coordinated or performed all aspects of an environmental assessment under the National Environmental Policy Act for a NW tribe seeking HUD grant funds to expand tribal service buildings. The project was a success and the tribe was awarded funds used to develop additional recreation facilities on the reservation.
